Robbery
Columbia, 21045: 7000 block of Cradlerock Way, May 30 9:19 p.m.
An adult female victim reported she was approached on the foot path by a male suspect who asked for a cigarette. The suspect then stole her wallet and cell phone before fleeing. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
SUSPECT: black teenaged male, approximately 5’0” with short hair, no further description
Ellicott City, 21042: 7-Eleven, 9000 block of Frederick Road, May 31 3:04 a.m.
An employee reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash and cigarettes. The employee complied and the suspect fled. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
SUSPECT: black male, 24-30 years old, approximately 5’10”-5’11”, 140 pounds, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and black pants

Residential burglary
Columbia, 21044: 5600 block of Columbia Road, May 29 9:50 a.m.
A property manager reported that two suspects had gained entry to a vacant apartment. The suspects fled before police arrived.
SUSPECTS: black male, 30-35 years old, with a scar on his face; black female, 30 years old
Elkridge, 21075: 7600 block of Spreading Oak Lane, May 29 11:42 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) stole several items from a garage sometime in the past several months.
Ellicott City, 21043: 4700 block of Bonnie Branch Road, May 29 4:39 p.m.
A caller reported that a group of suspects had broken into a vacant property and fled on bicycles. Responding officers located the suspects nearby. The four juvenile males (ages 12-14) were charged with breaking and entering and destruction of property and were released to their parents.

Non-fatal shooting
Laurel, 20723: Days Inn, 9800 block of Washington Blvd., May 26 11:12 p.m.
An adult male victim reported he was inside a hotel room when an acquaintance entered and pointed a handgun at him. The two men got into a physical altercation and he was shot in the leg; the suspect fled. The victim was transported to the hospital and has since been released. The investigation is ongoing.
