Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
In the overnight hours of Jun. 27-28, unknown suspect(s) stole the airbags out of six vehicles at the following locations:

• Ellicott City, 21043: 5000 block of Walking Stick Road & 5000 block of Executive Park Drive

Residential burglary
Columbia, 21046: 8400 block of Guilford Road, Jun. 27 6:19 p.m.
A resident reported that a male suspect knocked on her door and claimed to be inspecting the plumbing. When the resident and the suspect went downstairs, another suspect entered the residence and stole cash. Both suspects then fled.
Police are reminding residents to be suspicious of unsolicited offers and services and to ask to see a contractor’s required license. If someone seems eager to look inside your home, or seems to be trying to distract you, close and lock the door and call 911.
