Robbery arrest update
Police have arrested two additional juveniles for a robbery that occurred Oct. 22 at Blandair Park in Columbia. Police had responded to the park for a report that a juvenile male victim was robbed of his backpack by three suspects, one of whom displayed a handgun. No one was injured. One suspect, a 14-year-old male, was arrested later that day and charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault, and theft. Through investigation, police identified the two other suspects and arrested them.

Telephone misuse arrest update
Howard County police have charged a 14-year-old male from Baltimore with nine counts of telephone misuse after investigators determined that he made a series of prank 911 calls throughout October, including reports of gunshots at two schools and numerous other public places; false allegations of hostage situations; and a request for an unnecessary ambulance. All cases resulted in police and/or EMT response and resources.
