A four-month investigation that began with a complaint left on Howard County police’s drug tip line resulted in the discovery of assorted drugs with an estimated street value of more than $200,000 in an Ellicott City man’s apartment.
Joshua Weinberg, 25, of the 3000 block of Autumn Branch Lane, is charged with 32 counts related to drug possession with intent to distribute. He is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on no bond.
Police received a tip in January of suspected drug activity in the area of Autumn Branch Lane. Through investigation, detectives developed Weinberg as a suspect in selling drugs out of his apartment. Police executed a search warrant on May 10 and recovered large quantities of various drugs indicative of distribution, including 5- 1⁄2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine:
• Marijuana
• THC wax/oil
• Crystal ketamine
• Cocaine
• Heroin
• Crystal MDMA
• MDMA pills
• LSD
• Psilocybin mushrooms
• Xanax
• Amphetamine pills
• Suboxone pills and strips
• Clonazepam pills
