Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a detached garage by breaking the glass on the door and stole a moped.

ARREST: Residential burglary update
Police have charged a suspect in an Aug. 19 burglary in the 8100 block of Cyprus Cedar Lane in Ellicott City. Police responded for a report of a male suspect who had entered a neighbor’s residence without permission and stole alcohol. Daniel Franklin, 62, of Cyprus Cedar Lane in Ellicott City, is charged with burglary, theft, and destruction of property.
