Howard County police are investigating an apparent homicide at a residence in Columbia last night.
Police were called to a home in the 9500 block of Half Dollar Court at 10:48 p.m. on Feb. 8 after a family member of the victim requested medical assistance. Responding officers located an adult male resident with multiple gunshot wounds inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased is identified as Perry Anthony Comeau, 67.
Through preliminary investigation, detectives do not believe the shooting was random. The investigation is ongoing.
