HCPSS Seeks Members for World Language Advisory Committee by Aug. 16, 2024

HCPSS seeks new members for its World Language Advisory Committee. The mission of the committee is to champion the advancement of world language education by bridging community insights with educational policy and advocating for the program’s broad-based recognition and support. The World Language Advisory Committee serves as a community sounding board for topics related to world language education in Howard County and advocates for the world language program in various public and private arenas.

Members serve a 1-year term, with the opportunity for renewal, and should be residents of Howard County. Virtual meetings will be held from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm on the following dates:

  • Sept. 18, 2024
  • Dec. 11, 2024
  • March 19, 2025
  • June 4, 2025

Interested stakeholders should complete a brief online interest survey no later than Aug. 16.
