District Heights man,  Lavonte Lamar Lee, arrested for burglary in Columbia

Unrelated incident: man arrested in unsuccessful burglary attempt in Columbia

Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21045:
Snowden River Liquors, 9300 block of Snowden River Parkway, Aug. 4 3:09 a.m.
Police responded for a business alarm and discovered a suspect entered the business by cutting the locks and stole cash and cigarettes. Police located the suspect nearby and arrested him.
ARRESTED: Lavonte Lamar Lee, 29, of District Heights, charged with burglary and theft

Residential burglary

A suspect attempted to force entry to the residence but was unsuccessful. He was arrested; charges are pending.
