Governor Hogan is now the first Forward Republican Candidate in Maryland
Frederick, MD: On 7/17/24, the Maryland Forward Party is proud to announce the endorsement & formal affiliation of U.S. Senate candidate and former Maryland Governor, Larry Hogan.
The Governor’s 8-year tenure was marked by his success in fostering bipartisan cooperation and implementing policies that benefited Marylanders. His commitment to pragmatic governance and election integrity resonates deeply with the Maryland Forward Party’s mission to create a fairer, more representative political system.
“Governor Hogan agrees with Maryland Forward’s reform priorities and values. Current politics force us into one of two boxes, but Gov. Hogan’s 77% approval rating proved he can work across the political spectrum,” said Matt Beyers, Chair MD FWD Party. “He asked for our endorsement and repeatedly defied the MAGA agenda. Larry Hogan will move Maryland Forward.”
